More than a care centre

Casa Orizont is more than a medical care centre. It is a large family we all belong to — residents, care staff and management alike.

It means returning to rural life and nature, where many seniors, alone or facing health issues, choose to live a peaceful old age — enjoying an active social life, new friends, shared activities or relaxation in the library, a walk in the garden or simply in front of the TV.

A place with history

The Casa Orizont building is the result of the radical restoration of a large 1963 structure. The careful, passionate restoration lasted five years under the constant guidance of Romanian and Italian architects, preserving the original volumes and structure.

The interiors were designed by Italian professionals. The furniture consists of antique pieces from 1860s–1920s Italy and France, while the walls are covered with European paintings and graphic works. Residents are surrounded by the warmth of carved wood and original artworks.

Space, nature and calm

Outside, Casa Orizont offers residents two covered terraces of 400 sqm each and a 12,000 sqm garden, with paths, relaxation areas with benches and tables, flowers, ornamental shrubs and an orchard. The location, in Beleți village at the foot of the Carpathians, is surrounded by forested hills and uniquely beautiful landscapes.

Accommodation and meals

Accommodation is 3-star hotel-style, in 26 spacious rooms with solid wood furniture, TV and generous bathrooms. Meals consist of three main servings, with diversified menus personalised to each resident's condition, prepared daily from fresh ingredients in the on-site kitchen.

Medical care and rehabilitation

The centre has an equipped medical office and a team including a general practitioner, psychiatrist and neurologist, nurses, a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist and care assistants. Treatments, rehabilitation techniques, physiotherapy and occupational therapy help maintain and improve residents' quality of life.

Social life and special moments

Social life is essential to everyone's health. Each floor has dedicated spaces for socialising and group activities: chess, cards, backgammon, film screenings, book discussions. Birthdays, Christmas, Easter and New Year are celebrated together, often with family — for a beautiful, dignified and peaceful old age.
